| 1. Drill a hole in your
basement wall and install a vent pipe from the inside of the home to the outside.
Ensure the vent is placed at a minimum of 12 inches above grade,
clear of any opening windows or doors. |
2. Add an elbow to the vent to allow for
a connection to be made with the top of the Rinnai
tankless hot water unit. |
3. Secure the Rinnai unit to the
a backboards on the basement wall and
attach the elbow vent to the
top of the unit. |
4. Connect the water pipes to
the premium Rinnai certified Webstone plumbing kit (to
allow for future cleaning). The natural gas line is then
connected. |
5. Connect a 120V power source
to the Rinnai with a switch and then run the system. The preferred hot water temperature
can then be selected. |
